Picking up from my last post, here’s Part 2 of my look at the titles of my novels and from whence they have come. Some of the stories behind these titles are less interesting than others, but isn’t that always the case?
Wrapping up…
Here endeth the look at the stories behind the titles of my novels. As noted in the first part of this two-part series, in addition to cover design and the blurbs and back cover copy, the title is one of the few tools writers have to persuade bookstore browsers to take a chance on a book and an author they may not know. So it’s worth giving time and thought to the few words chosen to grace the front cover in a large and stylish font.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this or at least found it mildly interesting. If you haven’t already subscribed, it would be great if you would. It’s free and easy and you’ll never have to worry about missing a biweekly, Sunday morning post. Don’t we all have enough to worry about already? Thanks all. Back in two weeks.
Now I want to go back and re-read all of them!! Thanks for this behind-the-scenes look into your titles!
Looking forward to your next novel when when will it be published? Keep up the good writing Bernie Snyder.
