You have a wonderful voice and are a great guitar player! The songs are great and I'm glad you decided to include them. Your McMaster story reminds me of two of my friends whose photo was taken twice at Mac, 50 years apart. For some reason, I don't see the actual photo but the story is here: https://dailynews.mcmaster.ca/articles/flashback-to-66-50-years-of-mcmaster-love/. Oh, found it on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/mcmasteruniversity/photos/alumni-joyce-and-ray-hodgson-in-1966and-then-50-years-later-at-their-religious-s/10154108861391401/

Good luck with your launch Terry, but in your case, it’s your hard work that makes for success: or as Stephen Leacock has reputable said, ‘I don’t believe in luck, but I find the harder I work the more of it I have.’ I’m planing to be in Kingston area in September; perhaps I’ll stop by Gananoque and see about a signed copy of your book.

One of my favourite Leacock quotations.

I found myself smiling all through both songs. You have no need to be concerned - both the guitar playing and your voice are definitely Good Enough!! Looking forward to the book. Just wish you were going to be near Sarnia on your tour. I frequently travel from Michigan to visit my mom in a nursing home there. It would be an added bonus to include a meet & greet with you. Safe travels and happy book launch.

Thanks, Beverley. Love to come back to Sarnia. I’ve done book events there in the past. We’ll see what the fall brings.

Lovely songs - particularly Until the New year. Your guitar playing and voice are beautiful! No need to be anxious....yiur songs will be well received. I look forward to seeing you at the Leacock Friday night and the Cedar Canoe event. I recently attended Cedar Canoe's book launch for Roy MacGregor's Paper Trails and it was a great night. Good luck with the launch.

Congrats, Terry! Was really hoping to make this launch this year, but it lands squarely on my wife's birthday. I'll raise a glass to it though!

Very cool that you're incorporating music into your book. I love little forays from the norm like that. And I had no idea you were a musician, too (though I'm not shocked; merely surprised). I hope you don't take offence when I say I'm not a huge fan of audiobooks -- my mind wanders too much when I'm reading following ideas the story presents. When it happens listening to a book, I have to stop and rewind, which is much harder than going back a page or two. So thanks for sharing the songs here. (I'm trying to imagine what the story may be based on the songs, though I doubt that will work... lol)

I know things are getting busy for you now, but I hope you're able to take some moments here and there over the next few months to enjoy the ride!
